Breaking the rules ?

Description

Everybody at Great Lakes Fur con kept telling me that the staff at the Old Chicago Restaurant wouldn't let fursuiters wear their head on when at the restaurant. The rumor was that the manager was afraid of masked people coming in to rob the place. I figured it was a totally unsubstantiated rumor but thought there might have been a grain of truth within there somewhere., Someone probably asked permission and got told No. Well, I feel rather silly walking around with my head under my arm, ESPECIALLY in a place where ever other booth is jammed with kids. So when it was time for dinner, I figured that I'd  rather for forgiveness rather than ask for permission. I brought along my handy straw that is made from some teflon water line, slunk in, and sat down with my friends and ordered a beer. My I.D. was in a badge holder along with a $20 bill, so that worked when it came time to order.

He heh! Nope, nobody came by to ask me to leave, the staff was prepared for such things, and the booths looked like prairie dog holes with all the kid's heads popping up and down to take a look. Once the pizza arrives, I did remove my head, and zipped down to my waist, at which time I looked like a regular joe in a white Underarmour shirt. and no one noticed. then after pizza time, I zipped back up and viola! Tycho was back, and the heads started popping up & down in the booths again. A few brave kids with their mommies came over for high-fives and some pictures.

The fursuit and the beer. I think this might be a new tradition for me, thanks to Dogbomb who gave me the idea! It was a Lienenkugel special draft, very good!

That's awesome! It's always funny to see how kids react to Tycho, and more serious adults for that matter.
